According to the Federal Reserve Report on the Economic Well-Being of U.S. Households in 2019 - May 2020, only 7% of white Americans under 40 with student loan debt were behind on their student loan payments, while 26% of Black Americans under 40 with student loan debt were behind on their student loan payments. Hispanic Americans fell closer to Black Americans , with 19% behind on their student loan payments.
