COVID-19 cases and vaccination rates in Louisiana nursing homes as of July 14

Forty percent of fatal COVID-19 infections in Louisiana were acquired in nursing home facilities

From the Louisiana Department of Health: The data included in this report is self-reported by facilities each week as per the Governor's reporting mandate and the State Sanitary Code. Locally identified cases are defined as cases in residents who did not have a pre- existing diagnosis at the time of admission. The vaccine percentage columns are mutually exclusive - the "vaccine series initiated" column only includes individual who have begun a two-dose vaccine series and have not yet completed it. Once individuals complete the vaccine series, they are included in the "vaccine series completed" percentage. Cumulative new resident deaths are reported at the bottom of the report and not by individual facility.
