A pie chart of Brownsville ISD police arrests and juvenile justice referrals for elementary school age students 10 to 11-Years-Old made August 2022-November 2023 shows, out of a total of 76 referrals, 42 percent were arrested for controlled substances, 28 percent for assault, 20 percent for terroristic threat, and 11 percent for false alarm of a threat.
