How long until tax cuts take effect

The tax cuts previously announced will take time to come into play

* First announced by the Coalition in 2018 then revised by Labor in January 2024. The reforms decrease the lowest tax bracket rate from 19 per cent to 16 per cent for those earning less than $45,000, and keep the 37 per cent tax bracket for those earning between $135,000 and $190,000.
