The map shows the percentage of each county's residents enrolled in Medi-Cal. For example, 64% of residents in Tulare County are enrolled in Medi-Cal. Darker blue signals a higher rate of Medi-Cal enrollment while lighter green signals lower enrollment. On a statewide basis, 38% of residents are enrolled in Medi-Cal. The map also shows total Medi-Cal spending by county, which ranges from millions of dollars in the smallest counties to $54 billion in Los Angeles County.
