Minnesota's fiscal flip: from surplus to projected deficit

Just a few years ago, Minnesota was flush with surplus cash. But economic forecasts for the state show deficits loom ahead. Minnesota’s projected budget surplus for the next two years has shrunk amid economic uncertainty, and a deficit anticipated down the line has grown to about $6 billion.
