2018 Businessweek Student Survey: School Prestige
They don’t call it the “West Point of Capitalism” for nothing. Harvard Business School has it all: top students, rock star faculty, and influencer-laden alumni network. You name it and they probably have it. Combine HBS’ scale, expertise, and Boston locale and you create a perfect magnet for recruiters. That may be one reason why HBS landed a perfect index score when it comes to Prestige from its students. That doesn’t mean HBS can get too comfortable. Look no further than the Wharton School, which scored a 99.74. Overall, the Prestige dimension favored the highest-ranked programs. Despite this, USC Marshall and SDA Bocconi managed to slip into the Top 10 – a telling sign of employer sentiment as well.
