Which of the following, if any, have you delayed or skipped due to medical costs?

Respondents could select multiple options, if applicable. This is a subset of the sample who reported financial strain in the previous 12 months due to medical costs (N=519). Underlying data is based on 1,887 respondents who had health insurance with prescription drug coverage and who, within the previous month, either filled a prescription or had a prescription sent to a pharmacy that they did not ultimately fill. Survey responses were weighted to be representative of the U.S. adult population. The survey was run through YouGov from May 7, 2026, through July 14, 2026.
