Dallas, Collin counties' 10-year snapshot of homelessness 

The number of people experiencing homelessness, generally measured through a federally mandated, annual point-in-time survey, has steadily risen over the past decade in Dallas and Collin counties. Local experts say the actual number of people experiencing homelessness on any given day is much higher as the PIT count is only a snapshot in time.
