Governor's Race Has Large Gender Gap Among Younger Voters

Men between the ages of 18 and 29 favor Gov. Josh Shapiro over State Treasurer Stacy Garrity by a 53 to 36-point margin, nearly identical to the overall electorate. Similarly-aged women, on the other hand, give Shapiro a far larger 74-13-point advantage.

Poll was conducted from August 17 to 21. Responses shown here have margins of error ranging from 6.3 to 11 percentage points. Percentages may not add to 100 due to rounding.
