Gender Inequality Index 2023
Countries are evaluated on multiple dimensions including maternal mortality rate, adolescent birth rate, share of seats in parliament, secondary education, and labor force participation rate. A lower GII value indicates lower inequality between women and men, and a higher score indicates higher inequality.
