Life Expectancy Down 2.6 Years in NJ, 1.5 Years in PA in 2020

Life expectancy declined in all states in 2020, the most recent year for which CDC data are available. New Jersey had the second greatest drop in life expectancy — 2.6 years. Pennsylvania fared slightly better than the national average, with a 1.5-year decline in life expectancy.
