The top 15 states for overall volume of the new 49 CFR 395.8(e)(2) false logs violation as a result of tampering are shown, with violation counts as of early October. Each state's 2025 HOS-intensity ranking is shown to the right, based on total HOS violations tabulated as a percentage of all violations in 2025, and shown for all 48 contiguous states at this link.
