New Michigan K-12 School COVID-19 Outbreaks Reported Oct. 11, 2021

MDHHS recently revised its definition of a school outbreak to promote consistent reporting amongst states. A K-12 school outbreak is now defined as: three or more cases who may have shared exposure on school grounds and are from different households or schools that have been found to have multiple cases comprising at least 10% of students, teachers, or staff, within a specified core group.
