Since April 2023, disengaged voters have, on average, been likelier to support Trump than to support Biden

In November 2024, who do you plan to vote for in the presidential election? (% of registered voters)

Note: Disengaged voters are defined as registered voters who say they follow political news “only now and then” or “hardly at all.” Engaged voters are defined as registered voters who say they follow political news “some of the time” or “most of the time.” Before the poll of May 12-14, 2024, the question asked was, "If an election for president were going to be held now and the Democratic nominee was Joe Biden and the Republican nominee was Donald Trump, would you vote for..." Respondents were given the options of Joe Biden, Donald Trump, "other," "not sure," and "I would not vote." Respondents who selected "other" were asked a follow-up question about which other candidate they would vote for.'
