Over the summer, the gap between the vaccine totals reported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services has widened to nearly 100,000 doses. As of Sept. 15, 2021, the federal government reports that more than 921,000 people have received one dose, but the state only reports about 825,000 people for the same metric. The federal government also reports that more than 816,000 people have been fully vaccinated, but the state reports about 750,000 for the same metric.
