Killer Asteroids

Asteroids with an estimated diameter greater than 1 km that have passed close to Earth since NASA's 1992 Spaceguard Survey.

The diameter of each asteroid is the median value of its estimated minimum and maximum diameter. The size of the circles corresponds to the relative size of the asteroids. Hover over a circle for details.
