Source: PPIC estimates based on current rates of educational progress for a synthetic cohort of 1,000 9th graders. High school graduation rates and college enrollment rates are from the California Department of Education, transfer rates from California Community colleges to four-year colleges are from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office, and baccalaureate degree completion is based on University of California, California State University, and Integrated Postsecondary Education data.
