They were charged with 7.28 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Central Saanich, Indigenous people make up 4.01 per cent of the population. They were charged with 17.19 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Delta, Indigenous people make up 2.9 per cent of the population. They were charged with 4.11 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Nelson, Indigenous people make up 5.45 per cent of the population. They were charged with 7 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In New Westminster, Indigenous people make up 3.28 per cent of the population. They were charged with 11.36 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Oak Bay, Indigenous people make up 1.46 per cent of the population. They were charged with 5.28 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Port Moody, Indigenous people make up 2.27 per cent of the population. They were charged with 4.69 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Saanich, Indigenous people make up 3.12 per cent of the population. They were charged with 10.78 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Victoria and Esquimalt, Indigenous people make up 5.04 per cent of the population. They were charged with 15.46 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In Vancouver, Indigenous people make up 2.37 per cent of the population. They were charged with 15.46 per cent of the crimes in this sample. In West Vancouver, Indigenous people make up 2.84 per cent of the population. They were charged with 22.14 per cent of the crimes in this sample.
