2026 Olympic Medal Bonuses by Country – Individual Sports

Most medalists are paid by their country's national Olympic committee, but others come from a government ministry, sponsor or nonprofit.

Notes: Finland – Regardless of total medals, the maximum sum paid for one athlete will be 100,000 euros / $120,000 USD. Italy – In case of a tie, each medalist receives the single prize and not the total divided. Kazakhstan – An additional $5,000 is rewarded for a world record. Slovenia – A share of each award is also allocated to the athlete’s coach.
