New CPS map 'better reflects the diversity' of Chicago, per its creators

Lawmakers' proposed map for the elected Chicago Public Schools board now includes seven majority-Black districts, six majority-Latino districts, five majority-white districts and two districts without a majority group. The map reflects the longtime racial segregation between Chicago's North, South and West sides.
