In April, the unemployment rate in Nevada fell to 8 percent as employers added thousands of jobs. The U.S. jobless rate, however, ticked up to 6.1 percent in April from 6 percent a month earlier.
In March, the unemployment rate in Nevada ticked down to 8.1 percent as employers added back jobs. Still, it’s up 4.4 percentage points from February 2020.
