This map of the world shows the number of emigrants living abroad. This number is calculated by the "native population" of an origin country as the sum of the emigrant population from the country living abroad and the country's total population. For each country, there is information on the number of emigrants living abroad, total population, and emigrants as a percentage of the native population.
"Native population" of an origin country is calculated as the sum of the emigrant population from the country living abroad and the total population of the country.
