Texas hospitals report fewer undocumented patient visits

Hospitals statewide reported fewer visits from undocumented patients each month in 2025 compared to November 2024. Visits from patients who declined to respond also dropped, while visits from patients reporting a legal status did not decrease.

Note: Monthly percent changes from Nov. 2024 are shown. Figures include a revision of one hospital's reported visits from 66,140 to 6 based on feedback from that hospital.
