North Sydney Bears

After a lengthy but largely pointless existence without Duncan Thompson, the Bears went broke because of rain in 1999, merged with their arch rivals to form the Northern Eagles and were dropped from the merger, and the NRL, for not carrying their weight. The Bears will return in the sequel, Perth Bears: New Dawn.
