The Greenback touched a five-month low Thursday, a day after dovish statements from the U.S. Fed. The U.S. Dollar Index, which measures the U.S. currency against six major global counterparts, touched its highest level in eight months in late November. On March 13, 2015, the dollar hit its highest level since the end of 2002. A strong dollar has adversely impacted U.S. corporate earnings and U.S. exports. The U.S. dollar remains higher than it's been for more than a decade.
