Cropland includes crop-production sites identified in DPR pesticide-use records; “all other land types” includes remaining non-forest uses such as rights-of-way, uncultivated agricultural areas, and other reported sites. Forest categories correspond to DPR’s “Forest, Timberland” site category and were classified by ownership using application location and land-ownership data. Forest acre-treatments that could not be confidently assigned an ownership type are shown as undetermined. Acreage represents cumulative acre-treatments, not unique acres; an acre treated more than once during the year is counted once for each treatment.
